Vir

Vir is an island on the Croatian coast of Adriatic Sea located north of the city of Zadar, in central Dalmatia. It is the eight biggest island in the Zadar archipelago, and it is connected to the mainland via  road bridge. Vir is surrounded by islands such as Pag, Maun, Planika, Olib, Ist, Molat and that makes it perfect for exploring the Zadar archipelago while on your cruising holiday.  Because of the favorable depths of the sea around Vir there are many important maritime routes leading to Rijeka, Zadar, the south of Croatia and even Italy.  The town of Nin is only 15 km away while the city of Zadar is 26 km away. Nin Beaches

Nin Beaches are one of its trademarks. It is not surprising that they are considered to be among the most beautiful in Croatia, if not in the world. Nin's beaches total an impressive 8,000 meters in length. The longest and most famous among them is the Queen's Beach, a three kilometer long beach, which is extremely long and shallow, so it is ideal for families with small children, but it also makes a perfect stopping point for yachtsman on their cruise. In its vicinity there is the largest known location of medicinal mud in Croatia. Besides Queen's Beach, yachtsmen can also enjoy sandy beach Sabunika where people often come to surf, or beach in Zaton, which offers playgrounds for children, swimming pools and water slides.
