Vir is an island on the Croatian coast of Adriatic Sea located north of the city of Zadar, in central Dalmatia. It is the eight biggest island in the Zadar archipelago, and it is connected to the mainland via road bridge. Vir is surrounded by islands such as Pag, Maun, Planika, Olib, Ist, Molat and that makes it perfect for exploring the Zadar archipelago while on your cruising holiday. Because of the favorable depths of the sea around Vir there are many important maritime routes leading to Rijeka, Zadar, the south of Croatia and even Italy.
