Palac
Sukošan is a small town located along the Adriatic highway, 10 km SE of Zadar. The bay in the centre of the town is dominated by the summer villa Palac. It was built on an artificial island in the middle of the bay in the 15th century by the archbishop of Zadar.
Today are the ruins the trademark of Sukošan and the only reminder of the grandeur of the palace. In the summer time the ruins can be reached by swimming.
Palac is an interesting tourist destination and a nice spot for a short trip, which provides a nice view at sunsets. In the vicinity of the summer villa Palac there is the city of Zadar, 5 national parks and 2 nature parks.
